The manufacturer Shenzhen Hot Technology Co., the owner of the Hotcig and HOT brands, has long been known to vapers as a manufacturer of good and high-quality clones. The latest device released is the Hotcig R150, with a board that looks very similar to DNA, but is manufactured by the company independently. An interesting feature of the proprietary HM Chip is waterproofness. The first (and so far the only) mod on this board will be discussed today.
Packaging and equipment
The box mod is packed in a wooden box, which already shows that the box is not cheap. The top cover has the names of the manufacturer Hotcig and the device itself – R150, laser-applied, in the lower right corner is the inscription Powered by HM Chip. In addition, there are two stickers at the top right: a round one indicating the color of the mod and a regular paper one, reminiscent of a price tag in a store, with the serial number of the device. vape devices in new zealand On the side, there is a poorly held sticker with a verification code and a QR code leading to the manufacturer’s website. The box is sealed with a paper sticker with the manufacturer’s address and the name of the device.
Appearance and characteristics
The box mod is available in two colors: silver and black, and the color is different only on the case, the complete side walls are similar. There is also an option R150 Carved Version, it has an engraved pattern all over the case and side covers.

Waterproof board
The key feature of the Hotcig R150 appearance, like the recently reviewed Limitless LMC, is the ability to customize with replaceable panels. In addition to the complete ones, the manufacturer produces separate covers in a variety of variations.
The mod has a great connector with a steel thread and a gold-plated positive pin. The visible part of the connector is only 15 mm in diameter, installed flush with the case, the atomizers sit tightly on the mod without leaving a gap.
Screen and control
The Hotcig R150 has a fairly small Fire button, just a little larger than the adjustment buttons. The buttons themselves seem to be metal, there are no markings on them, the lower right is “+”, the left is “-”, and they do not change their purpose when the screen is turned, which is very inconvenient.
