The HCigar VT75 box mod can hardly be called a novelty, the device was announced back in May of this year. The manufacturer was one of the first to release a device on the new (at that time) EVOLV DNA75 board, which became a “light” version of DNA200.
Packaging and equipment
The box mod packaging is a cardboard box in a cardboard “sleeve”. On the front side there is a logo and the name of the device, the inscription Designed by Hcigar/Heartbeat by Evol and a small circle indicating the color of the HCigar VT75 inside. suorin vape On the back side of the drain there is a color print with an image of two versions of the mod, on the side walls there is a logo and the name of the manufacturer.

Appearance and design
Initially, the mod was produced only in two colors: black and black and red, which is shown on the packaging, but today the choice has expanded. In addition to these two colors, HCigar also has VT75 in gold, silver, and Tiffany Blue. The last version came to me for review. The main color of the case is turquoise with a metallic sheen (most likely anodizing), the coating is a little rough to the touch. The black frame is covered with glossy paint, more slippery than the rest of the mod. On the left side there is an inscription HCIGAR, on the right – VT75, both inscriptions are deep, filled with paint that is very reminiscent of enamel. Thanks to the rounded shape in the battery area, narrowing towards the front and recesses on the main part of the case, the mod fits comfortably in the hand.

On the front of the mod there is a screen, buttons and a micro USB connector. The Evolv DNA75 specifications allow you to use USB both for charging and for setting up/reflashing the device using the proprietary Evolv Escribe program (you can learn about working with the EScribe program here). The buttons and screen are framed by protruding frames, while the screen is very recessed and constantly collects dust.
Impressions and conclusions
The mod is comparable in size and weight to some dual-battery devices, it can’t be called compact. The weight of the setup with a 26650 battery and a drip tip can reach 300g, which is quite decent for a single-battery kit. The buttons are very pleasant to press. The battery compartment cover copes well with the 26650 battery.
